Darren Taylor brings over 30 years’ experience to the Recruitment Team at Staffed UP. Darren started his career in 1986 specialising in HR and recruitment, working with national companies such as Virgin Trains and Peninsula Business Services, choosing to work with local employers Bournemouth Council, Barclays, LV, the RNLI and Siemens. During this time Darren has assembled an impressive portfolio of professional contacts.
Darren now builds high performance, long term teams perfectly selecting and matching candidates to companies using a variety of skills, such as psychometric testing and competency based interview techniques. Most recently Darren has supported the growth plans of the Utility Point brand. Overseeing their growth from 20 to over 160 employees, focused on looking after over 160,000 energy customers. This has included the development of a new Training Academy based at Utility Point’s new offices at Fleetsbridge.
